Composer includes comprehensive Insurance processing facilities, including functionality for processing employer-sponsored funds, categories within those funds and individual policies within categories. Composer also caters for automatic annual renewals, amendment of cover and Insurance 'top up' features. Premium calculation facilities are available, supported by the underwriting rate tables provided by Insurers. Premium Rate Tables for as many Insurers and Insurance Types as required can be established and maintained on Composer. Updates can also be provided in electronic format. These rate tables are used along with user definable risk related factors (eg smoking/ non-smoking, age, gender, etc.) for premium calculations. Loading factors can be applied and adjustments are also available.
