RBC Dexia number one for global custody - again
The recently merged custody group RBC Dexia has again been awarded top spot in the R&M Consultants Survey in Europe while also sweeping through awards in the segment categories.
This is the second consecutive year RBC Dexia has scored the top gong.
And even at the segment level RBC Dexia was dominant scoring either first or second place for awards for global custody in the UK, Canada, North America, and Continental Europe while also picking up top awards for global custody for investors and investment managers.
Richard Hogsflesh, managing director of R&M Surveys, said, “RBC Dexia Investor Services has proved too good for its competitors for the second year in a row…[the results show] their commitment to the areas of client service and relationship management.”
The awards are based upon surveys of investment managers, pension funds, charities and other financial institutions around the world, that ask about client satisfaction with the services performed by global custodians.
Rob Wright, chief operating officer of RBC Dexia Investor Services said “Our top ranking in this very competitive survey reflects our employees’ continuing commitment to providing excellent service to our clients. We are extremely grateful and appreciative for this recognition from the institutions we do business with around the world.”
This latest award follows RBC Dexia being rated number one by Global Investor Global Custody Surveys for the past two years.
These results are great news for RBC Dexia in Australia who are working hard to build their presence in the Australian market, especially in registry services.
Alex Muto, managing director of RBC Dexia in Australia said, "We are definitely excited about the awards, especially as our global custody clients in Australia would have participated in the survey."
According to Rainmaker, RBC Dexia is ranked number seven by funds under custody for both super funds and investment managers using external custody.
